THE BOTULINIC TOXIN (BOTOX)

Most of the wrinkles of the face are in fact wrinkles of expression caused by the action of the subjacent muscles. Ageing accentuates them in the course of time. Thanks to the medical use of Botulinic Toxin, injected directly into the muscles responsible for the wrinkles, we obtain an effective muscular relaxation while preserving a sufficient mobility to satisfy the expressivity of the face.

We practise tiny intramuscular injections disseminated on the forehead or inter-eyebrow muscles (“wrinkles of the lion”), and also on the muscles called “the goose leg”, as well as on the “tail” of the eyebrow if its muscles are sagging downwards to “widen the glance”.

At the end of 3 to 5 days, the results are visible: "spontaneous face lift" of the higher half of the face. The forehead is smooth, having lost its harsh and sad temperament. The folds of the “goose legs” are much decreased. At the end of 4 months, the effect decreases. It is necessary to renew the session and the same after the 2° and 3° meeting. In general, three sessions are enough for an effect lasting from 6 to 12 months.

FILLING OF WRINKLES BY INJECTIONS OF DISSOLVABLE PRODUCTS (HYALURONIC ACID)

Hyaluronic acid LR17 is an essential element of the fundamental substance of the skin. It draws water and thus contributes to the hydration. It is an implant perfectly tolerated and resorbable used in the treatment of the wrinkles of the face and the neck. No test is necessary; it is not an allergy-inducing substance. Various products are offered with variable concentrations and allow the restructuring of volumes of the face as well as the smoothing of the fine wrinkles.

The hyaluronic acid is injected using a very fine needle on the furrow of the wrinkle in order to erase the break of the derma by filling. The product employed dissolves gradually day after day until disappearing completely. A complementary session may be necessary at the end of one or two weeks.

It is wise to renew the intervention every six to ten months, sometimes less in the first meetings. Small red blotches and swellings can be seen and can persist from a few hours to a few days.
