To find the harmony of a face / it happens sometimes that the shape of the nose is not appropriate to the harmony of the face: noses in ball, long or broad, nose of saddle or hook… When the nose causes complex, a surgery can be considered. It consists in recreating a harmonious nose in its own proportions: top, profile, width, compared to the forehead, the chin and the cheekbones, etc…

 AGE AND SEX
Except in the event of an accident, it is advised to await the end of the post-puberty period, (approximately 16 years old minimum). There is no maximum age limit, but it should be known that the older we get, the more the skin is slow to deflate.
PRE-SURGICAL CONSULTATION
It is absolutely essential: it allows the precise photographic study of your face. It will enable you to have an accurate idea of the result. A traditional pre-surgical check-up is practised, you will not need any pre-surgical medicine.
PRINCIPLE OF THE INTERVENTION
It consists in recreating a new osteo-cartilaginous skeleton by respecting the skin and the mucous membrane, then thanks to the bandage to replace this skin in good position. Usually there are no visible scars: they are inside the nose.
THE COURSE OF THE INTERVENTION
Generally you return the day before in the evening or the very same day. The anaesthesia can be local; a general anaesthesia is advised for "the large" noses. The intervention lasts on average 90 minutes and the follow-up is not painful. The patient usually gets out of the clinic the following day.
FOLLOW-UP
Until the 8th day, a plaster of contention.
From the 8th to the 11th day, a bandage: during this period, the face, in particular the eyelids are inflated. You are not allowed to blow your nose or to wear glasses. Otherwise, it should be done on the root of the nose. The aspirin is prohibited. The nose will be perfectly presentable on the 15th day.
DURATION OF THE STAY IN TUNISIA
To make of your intervention a success, we advise you to stay 14 days on the whole, in order to carry out post-surgical control. The hospitalization is of one to two days.
THE MONITORING
The attending practitioner ensures it personally. It is essential and extends from the 15th day to the 18th month. It consists in supervising and directing, if required, the cutaneous retraction on the new skeleton; as much as the reduction is significant and the skin is thick ,the monitoring is longer.
THE RESULT
 Until the third month the nose will deflate and be refined.
In the 6th month, it has not yet completely taken its form and can still slightly "inflate" the morning.
In the 12th month the nose takes its quasi final aspect, it is necessary to wait 18 months in the event of thick and seborrheic skin.
