	THE SWELLING FINGER     WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF THE SWOLLEN FINGER ? Typically by extending the finger there is a projection resolving brutally the extension with a more significant unease in the morning. The diagnosis is then obvious. It consists in releasing the tendon. This tenolyse is carried out by widening the pulley on the level of the palm in order to facilitate the passage of the tendon. WHAT IS THE USUAL EVOLUTION ? After the intervention, there is neither a harness, nor rehabilitation. A simple bandage is preserved a few days. Recovery is generally complete at the end of three weeks. THE DURATION OF THE STAY IN TUNISIA The surgery is done into ambulatory. One considers a change of bandage after 48 hours. We advise one week convalescence at the hotel. WHAT ARE THE SPECIFIC RISKS ? Adherences can occur and limit the tendinous affair, justifying then a post-surgical rehabilitation. Cases of infection responsible of phlegmons, of nervous or arterial lesion are described in the literature but remain exceptional.
